One of my core beliefs is that education is not simply preparation for life, but rather a life-long journey itself. The early years of a child’s life are essential for laying a solid foundation upon which to build a strong mind and honest heart. I am excited to be joining Eastside Christian School as the new 4’s pre-K teacher!
I graduated from Seattle University with two degrees, a BA in Theology and Religious Studies and a BA in Humanities. I have loved working with children of all ages my entire life in a variety of capacities, including coaching, teaching, and volunteering. After working in non-profit fundraising, I took time off to stay at home with my three children Declan (10), Rory (8), and Cecilia (6).
Having grown up in Montana, I have a deep appreciation for nature and love animals and the outdoors! I see God in the diversity of life in the world and love sharing that with others. As a family, we enjoy hiking, snowshoeing, camping, kayaking, stargazing, and beachcombing.
